      <description>Location: Birmingham | Salary: &amp;pound;30 - &amp;pound;35/hour | Type: Contract | An automotive component manufacturer with sites across Europe require a Contract Programme Quality Engineer to ensure robust quality planning across new programmes. The ideal candidate will have advanced skills in PFMEA.      Commutable from: Birmingham, Coventry, Tamworth, Sutton Coldfield, Solihull, Redditch, Bromsgrove    Rate: £30 - £35 per hour outside IR35    Suitable For: Programme Engineer, Quality Engineer, PFMEA Engineer, FMEA Moderator      The Role    Reporting into the Quality Director you will have the following duties:    -      Support the APQP milestones and ensure alignment with the customer’s expectations.  -      Drive quality requirements through ISIR.  -      Develop and maintain control plans and support PFMEA reviews.  -      Lead the use of APIS IQ software for FMEA management and documentation.  -      Lead route cause analysis and containment activities.    The Person    Educated to Degree, HNC or IQA level you will have the following experience:    -      Proven experience in first tier automotive quality.  -      Complex assembly experience.  -      Strong experience in Control Plan &amp; PFMEA development and auditing.
