Our expertise spans the design, construction, and maintenance of buildings and critical infrastructure worldwide.Our renewable energy business has a great opportunity for an Engineer or Site Technician looking for a new challenge. The role is for a Quality Engineer and will involve performing and recording site quality inspections and tests. These site inspections will focus on solar farms currently under construction covering the Midlands, Yorkshire, Essex, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire. A vehicle will be provided for this position as this is a mobile role.Key activities
Perform inspections and tests of all elements of the construction, as directed by Site Quality Leaders.Use pre-defined electronic checklists to record inspections and testsRecord snags on a project snag registerReport progress of quality checks to Site Quality LeadersWork outside in various weather and ground conditionsPerform checks to ensure that snags have been remedied and closedContribute to rigorous compliance with onsite Health and Safety requirementsTo fulfil Health and Safety responsibilities by adherence to the requirements of the Company''s Health and Safety Policy and Health and Safety Management PlansTo comply with the Company’s Policies, Management Plans and ProceduresTo undertake such other duties appropriate to the level and character of work as may reasonably be required within the Department / ServiceSkills, qualifications and experience
