Quality Engineer

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be supporting a highly-regulated manufacturing business in the search for an experienced Quality Engineer in Royston This is an excellent opportunity to join a business that is committed to engineering excellence, continuous improvement and delivering the highest levels of quality to its global customer base.As Quality Engineer, you''ll support the Quality Management System while leading quality improvement activities across manufacturing and supplier operations. You''ll use structured problem-solving techniques and quality planning tools to reduce variation, improve process capability and deliver continuous improvement across the business.Key Responsibilities:Drive a zero-defect culture through continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing scrap, rework, customer complaints and cost of poor quality.Lead investigations into customer complaints, supplier issues and internal non-conformances using methodologies including 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone and DMAIC.Support Material Review Board (MRB) activities, ensuring timely containment, disposition and corrective actions.Facilitate cross-functional root cause investigations and ensure corrective and preventive actions are effectively implemented.Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Validation and Production Readiness Reviews.Develop and maintain quality documentation, inspection plans and controlled procedures.Analyse quality ..... full job details .....
