      <description>Location: Chestfield | Salary: Negotiable | Type: Permanent | Quality Engineer    Location: North Kent  Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience  Type: Permanent  Shift: Shift work    The Opportunity   A well-established precision engineering business in North Kent is looking for an experienced Quality Engineer with a background in metrology to join its quality team.   This is a hands-on role focused on measurement systems, inspection and quality analysis. You will be responsible for inspection planning, quality records and measurement activities while working closely with manufacturing teams to improve repeatability, reliability and quality.  The role would suit someone with a strong understanding of quality engineering and metrology who is comfortable working with engineering drawings, tolerances and inspection equipment. Experience with CMM and optical measurement systems would be particularly beneficial.
