Quality Engineer (Defence/Aerospace) £45,000 - £55,000 + Company Benefits + Early Finish Friday + Training Abingdon, Oxford Are you a Quality Engineer, Quality Inspector, or similar with a background in manufacturing or precision engineering, looking to join an established engineering business that will upskill you by providing training that will allow you to technically progress? On offer is the opportunity to join a well-established precision engineering business producing high-quality components for specialist industries such as the aerospace and defence sectors, who support their employees long term development. In this varied role, you will liaise with customers and suppliers on quality issues, interpret mechanical engineering drawings, produce inspection reports, manage non-conformances. You will also assist with calibration systems, quality control plans, final inspection reports, customer documentation packs, audits, and the improvement of inspection techniques, equipment, and processes. This role would suit a Quality Engineer or similar with experience in manufacturing environments and knowledge of inspection, GDandT, engineering drawings, CMMs, and manufacturing quality who is looking for a varied role within a precision engineering environment.
