Quality Engineer

This Quality Engineer position is working for a manufacturer in Segensworth, Fareham. This is a full time on site position. The role offers a Monday to Friday, 39 hour week, with an early finish on a Friday. The role is paying up to £45,000 depending on experience.

This Quality Engineer position supports quality for customers, suppliers and internal teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations and customer requirements. Key tasks include reviewing customer quality requirements, leading complaint resolution, conducting fault investigations and driving corrective/preventive actions. The Quality Engineer will solve product and process issues using structured methods like 8D, collect and analyse quality data and support process and product quality deployment. The role involves hosting customer and third-party audits, auditing internal and supplier systems and managing non-conformance closures. Duties include supplier evaluation, preparing approval documentation (AS9102/FAIR), analysing performance data, supporting product development, improving process capability and investigating quality issues. They also assist in gauge and equipment evaluation and complete release documentation for shipping.

You will need:

• Previous experience in a similar Quality Engineer role
• Previous experience within highly regulated industries
• Experience conducting audits, investigations and utilising relevant tools such as 8D
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• To have a proactive attitude and a willingness to drive success
