Job Title: Quality Engineer
Location: Dengie, Essex
Salary: Circa -40,000

A leading manufacturing company in Dengie is looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to support quality across the product lifecycle. You''ll work closely with the Quality & Regulatory Affairs Manager, ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements. This role is ideal for someone from a regulated industry (medical, aerospace, automotive, pharma) with a strong understanding of quality systems and tools.

• Be the main quality point of contact within Engineering

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements

• Support and improve the Quality Management System (QMS)

• Help manage product Technical Files with Regulatory Affairs

• Provide quality support across departments

• Engage with shop floor teams, including cleanroom environments

• Engineering or technical qualification

• Experience in a regulated industry

• Strong knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, etc.)

• Practical use of quality tools: FMEA, RCA, CAPA, 8D, 5 Whys, etc.

• Experience with CE/UKCA technical documentation

• Good communication and organisational skills

• Lean Six Sigma knowledge (desirable)

• Mon-Thurs: 8:30am - 5:30pm

• Friday: 8:30am - 2:30pm
