Quality Engineer Contract
A requirement has arisen for an experienced Contract Quality Engineer to support aerospace and defence programmes within a highly regulated manufacturing environment in Warwickshire.This role offers the opportunity to contribute to complex engineering projects, ensuring compliance, product integrity, and continuous improvement across production and supply chain activities.Role Overview:The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving quality standards, supporting both internal operations and external suppliers to meet stringent industry and customer requirements.Key Responsibilities:Maintain compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standardsConduct internal, supplier, and process auditsManage non-conformances and lead root cause investigations (8D, 5 Whys)Implement and drive corrective and preventive actionsSupport FAIRs, PPAP, and APQP activitiesWork cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teamsCandidate Requirements:Demonstrable experience as a Quality Engineer within aerospace, defence, or similar regulated industriesStrong working knowledge of AS9100 and quality management systemsExperience in auditing and supplier quality managementEffective problem-solving skills with a structured approachAbility to operate independently and integrate quickly into contract rolesContract Details:Competitive day rate (DOE)Immediate start availableInitial contract with potential extensionWarwickshire-based, with on-site presence ..... full job details .....
