Quality Engineer

Conrad Consulting is working with a leading construction and property consultancy to recruit an experienced Quality Engineer to support the delivery of a major infrastructure programme.

This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional with experience in highly regulated industries to ensure robust quality assurance and quality control throughout the project lifecycle.

Working closely with suppliers, contractors and project teams, you'll provide quality oversight across manufacturing, inspection, testing and construction activities while promoting a right-first-time culture.

• Support quality assurance and quality control activities across the project.
• Undertake supplier audits and quality surveillance.
• Review Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Manage non-conformance reports and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 requirements.
• Review quality documentation and records.
• Promote continuous improvement and quality best practice.
• Engage with contractors and the wider supply chain.

You'll possess:

• Strong QA/QC experience gained on major engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Experience working within highly regulated industries, ideally nuclear.
• Knowledge of supplier audits, inspections and quality surveillance.
• Experience managing non-conformances and quality documentation.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001, with ISO 19443 experience being highly desirable.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

• £70,000–£75,000 salary.
