QUALITY ENGINEER IMMEDIATE START £45,000 - £50,000 PER ANNUM FULL TIME, PERMANENT Are you a detail-driven Quality Engineer with a background in foundry or machining environments? We''re looking for someone who can start immediately and take ownership of dimensional accuracy, metallurgical integrity, and customer specification compliance across cast and machined products. If you thrive on root-cause analysis, driving down defects, and being the technical quality authority on the shop floor, we want to hear from you. THE ROLE As Quality Engineer, you''ll develop, maintain, and continuously improve the quality systems, processes, and controls that keep the foundry and machining operations running to the highest standard. You''ll be hands-on with CMM inspection, root-cause investigations, and customer-facing quality matters - reporting to the QHSE Manager. WHAT YOU''LL BE DOING Developing, implementing, and maintaining quality control processes for foundry and machining operations Operating and programming CMM machines, plus manual metrology equipment and gauges Interpreting engineering drawings, GDandT, and CAD models Producing dimensional inspection reports for internal teams and customers Completing First Off / First Article inspections with supporting reports Managing non-conformance investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa) Approving first-off and final inspections for cast and machined components Leading continuous ..... full job details .....
