      <description>Location: Calvert | Salary: Negotiable | Type: Contract | Carmichael UK is recruiting for an experienced  Quality Engineer  to join a Tier 1 contractor delivering a major package of works on the HS2 project in Buckinghamshire. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of one of the UK’s largest infrastructure projects, working within a high-performing team on complex civils works.  Key Responsibilities:  	 Implement and manage project quality assurance systems in line with client and industry standards 	 Review and manage ITPs, quality plans, and inspection documentation 	 Carry out site inspections, audits, and surveillance to ensure compliance 	 Manage NCRs, ensure corrective actions are implemented and closed out 	 Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and client representatives 	 Compile and manage handover documentation and quality records 	 Monitor quality KPIs and drive continuous improvement across site   Requirements:  	 Proven experience as a Quality Engineer on major infrastructure or civils projects 	 HS2 experience or major Tier 1 project experience (highly desirable) 	 Strong knowledge of QA processes, ITPs, audits, and documentation control 	 Experience across structures, earthworks, drainage or highways packages 	 CSCS...</description>
