Salary circa 40,000+ Bonus 1pm Finish Friday 25 Days Holiday + Bank HolidaysA Quality Engineer opportunity has become available with an established engineering manufacturer supplying precision components into highly regulated and customer-driven industries. Quality plays a critical role throughout the business, with the successful individual supporting site-wide compliance, driving continuous improvement activities and working closely with production, engineering and suppliers to resolve quality concerns. This position would suit an experienced Quality Engineer who enjoys taking a hands-on, collaborative approach to improving manufacturing quality.Quality Engineer responsibilities include - Leading 8D investigations using structured root cause analysis techniques to implement effective corrective actions. Working closely with production, engineering and suppliers to resolve quality concerns and prevent repeat issues. Supporting and improving the Business Management System in line with customer requirements. Conducting internal and process audits whilst supporting customer and third-party audit activities. Driving continuous improvement, scrap reduction and process improvement projects with measurable results.Quality Engineer desirable skills and experience - Previous experience working within a Quality Engineer position in a manufacturing environment.
