This role is integral to ensuring that quality standards are met at every stage of the vehicle lifecycle - from initial engineering through to supplier quality, production inspection, and final vehicle sign-off.Key ResponsibilitiesBought Parts Quality (for allocated projects):Develop and implement control plans to ensure supplier compliance and part quality.Manage supplier selection, audits, and accreditations (e.g. IATF, VDA).Oversee part quality planning including APQP and Maturity Level Assurance.Approve parts for project integration, ensuring specification compliance.Build Quality and Inspection Checkpoints:Define quality check processes throughout the build stages.Lead quality inspections covering gap/profile checks, color matching, function testing, and cosmetic standards.Serve as the first escalation point for any quality concerns during vehicle assembly.End-of-Line and Vehicle Sign-Off:Set standards for final inspection, both functional and cosmetic, before customer release.Ensure traceability of all inspection activities and outcomes.Vehicle Problem Analysis:Support with pre-handover diagnostics, such as shakedown tests or aesthetic defect analysis.Cross-Departmental ..... full job details .....
