Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Prime Appointments are recruiting for a Quality Controller to join a busy and fast-paced food production environment in Witham.

This is a Temp to Perm opportunity, offering long-term stability for someone with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their experience within a quality-focused role.

• Monitoring Critical Control Points (CCPs)
• Carrying out product quality and temperature checks
• Completing glass and hard plastic inspections
• Performing shelf-life assessments
• Supporting micro sampling and factory swabbing activities
• Verifying label print and date code accuracy
• Conducting scale and equipment calibration checks
• Assisting with pre-start and production changeover checks
• Ensuring production and quality paperwork is completed accurately
• Escalating any quality or safety concerns promptly
• Maintaining Clean as You Go standards
• Working closely with the Quality and Production teams

• Excellent attention to detail
• Previous experience within an FMCG or food manufacturing and production environment is desirable
• Ability to follow procedures and production schedules accurately
• Good communication skills
• Positive attitude and team-focused approach
• Willingness to learn and develop - full training provided
• Basic understanding of quality or food safety standards would be advantageous
