AR851 Quality ControllerLocation: LeominsterSalary: £30,000Overview:First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Quality Controller on behalf of one of our clients.The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products and processes meet the required quality standards. You will carry out inspections, testing, and quality checks across raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods, ensuring full compliance with company and industry standards. This is a key role in maintaining product integrity, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring consistent quality across operations.Our client strongly encourages applications from ex-military personnel; however, all candidates will be considered.Duties and Responsibilities: Inspection and testing Carrying out inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet required specifications. Identifying defects, deviations, or non-conformances and taking appropriate action.Documentation and reporting Accurately recording inspection results, test data, and quality metrics. Producing reports to highlight trends, support root cause analysis, and assist with continuous improvement initiatives.Corrective and preventive actions Investigating quality issues, working with Production and Engineering teams to identify root causes, and implementing corrective and preventive measures to avoid recurrence.Equipment maintenance Ensuring all inspection and testing equipment is ..... full job details .....
