QC TechnicianLocation: West YorkshireJob Type: Permanent, fully site basedSalary: Competitive Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (start at 6 am or 6:30 am)Reed Scientific is recruiting for a QC Technician to join our client''s QC department, where you will be instrumental in supporting the effective operation of their Quality Control function. This role is crucial for ensuring that all laboratory activities are carried out accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with established quality and health and safety standards.Day-to-Day of the Role:Conduct routine quality control testing of production batches, including total solids, pH, viscosity, specific gravity, and particle size, following approved procedures and specifications.Review test results against approved specifications, identify any discrepancies or non-conforming results, and take appropriate actions to solve or escalate issues.Adjust production batches as necessary to meet quality specifications and accurately record all adjustments.Decide on passing or failing production batches based on test results and approved specifications, ensuring all results are accurately recorded and documented.Verify incoming raw material certificates of analysis against approved specifications and escalate any discrepancies.Maintain product specifications, quality documentation, and relevant data files, ensuring information is accurate, current, and accessible.Prepare certificates of analysis for outgoing finished goods as ..... full job details .....
