Quality Control Technician
Quality Control TechnicianSouthend Permanent Mon to Fri - 37.5 hours per week Our client, a leading provider of managed equipment services across the UK, is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join their team based in Southend-on-Sea. Full training will be given for this role to candidates who can follow processes/technical manuals and can identify defects in workmanship. Candidates with previous experience in quality control or an inspection related role would be an advantage. Assessment, partial disassembly, repair, and function testing Incoming inspection and fault finding of various types of related products Preparation of inspection reports to guide workshops on repair requirement Final inspection, testing and packing of repaired products Using PC equipment for the recording of technical information and other tasks associated with department activity (goods receipt/despatch) Communicating with workshop and logistics staff Ensure all work is completed to Quality Management System requirements Maintaining company and personal quality goals and objectives Administrative duties relating to the repair process Provide service report updates to team support functions Developing skills and competence on additional products/services within the service department Work within the guidelines of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 Skills: Mechanical/electronic aptitude or interest Ability to follow processes/technical manuals Good interpersonal skills with the ability to ..... full job details .....
