NEW JOB VACANCY IN TELFORD (SHROPSHIRE) - QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIANAre you an experienced Quality Control Technician, QC Technician, QA Technician, Quality Assurance Technician, Quality Inspector, Quality Controller or Quality Auditor seeking a new job in Telford?!We are looking for a Quality Control Technician to join a leading manufacturing business in Telford (Shropshire), the working hours are day shifts Monday to Friday (8 hours per day, 40 hours per week), and the annual salary is up to £35,000 per annum (DOE).This role is working within a lab environment and the hiring manager would prefer someone with previous experience within the Plastics / PVC / Plastic Extrusion industry, but they will consider candidates with a solid background within the manufacturing sector.Whilst this role is more hands-on to begin with, there is an opportunity to progress to a Supervisory role within the QC lab for the right individual.What You Will Do: Follow established QC procedures and run specific tests at defined intervals to meet product specifications.Maintain laboratory equipment in a clean, working condition and respect all housekeeping standards.Support Health, Safety and Environmental requirements, including following LOTO procedures and ensuring guards and interlocks are properly used.Report faulty or broken equipment promptly via the correct process, helping protect quality and operational continuity.Assist other departments by preparing work orders, checking raw material ..... full job details .....
