Quality Control Technician

A leading precision engineering manufacturer is seeking an experienced Quality Control Technician-to join their machine shop team.

This role would suit someone with experience inspecting Engineering Components-who is looking to develop their career in a high-quality manufacturing environment producing precision parts used in world-class products.

Key Responsibilities for the-Quality Control Technician:-

• Carry out dimensional inspections on both in-house and subcontracted machined components
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings and specifications
• Use a range of hand measuring equipment to verify component accuracy
• Support the development and implementation of quality standards
• Monitor and analyse quality performance using SPC / Six Sigma methods
• Investigate product or production quality issues and support corrective actions
• Review NCR data, specifications and manufacturing processes
• Work collaboratively with production teams to resolve quality concerns
• Liaise with customers and suppliers where required
• Maintain accurate inspection records and quality databases

• Experience working as a Quality Inspector in manufacturing or engineering
• Experience inspecting CNC machined parts
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Competent with Microsoft Office
