Quality Control Team Leader

We are seeking an organized and conscientious individual to join us as a Quality Control Team Leader (known in house as ‘Section Lead – Operational Quality’) (Derby).As the leading supply chain solutions business in the aerospace industry, quality is at the heart of our business. As a Quality Control Team Leader, you will liaise with internal and external stakeholders to manage process adherence, support escalations regarding technical queries, and you will be expected to support with transactional activities in both our Quality Clinic and Inspection departments, ensuring products are checked thoroughly and well managed to meet our Industry and Customer standards. Reporting to our Quality Manager, you will manage a small team of Technicians and Inspectors to ensure a consistent level of work at the same high standards. You will understand the demands of ‘Right First Time’ ensuring product safety and quality is at the forefront of your everyday, whilst being able to work efficiently and effectively to meet customer demands.

About You

You will have experience of leading a team, and a strong background of product inspection, ideally in aerospace, automotive or pharmaceutical. You will be exceptional at organisation, process improvement, and have a great initiative. You will be a self-starter who understands the importance of teamwork, is well-organised and has the ability to build rapport with both internal and external stakeholders. Most importantly you will be passionate about our Incora Values and exceeding customer expectations.

ResponsibilitiesLiaise with internal and external stakeholders to manage process adherence and support escalations regarding technical queries.

Support transactional activities in both the Quality Clinic and Inspection departments.

Ensure products are checked thoroughly and managed to meet industry and customer standards.

Report to the Quality Manager and manage a small team of Technicians and Inspectors to maintain high and consistent standards.

Uphold the principles of Right First Time in daily operations to ensure product safety and quality.

QualificationsExperience of leading a team with a strong background in product inspection, ideally in aerospace, automotive or pharmaceutical sectors.

Excellent organisational skills, process improvement capability, and strong initiative.

Self-starter with a focus on teamwork and the ability to build rapport with stakeholders.
