Brook Street are currently recruiting on behalf of our manufacturing client who are looking for an experienced Quality Control Supervisor to join their manufacturing team in Bingley.
This is a hands-on supervisory role, working within the Quality Control inspection area and managing a team of 5 QC Inspectors.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining product quality, driving standards, and supporting continuous improvement across the department.

- Full time Perm role
- Location: Bingley BD16
- Salary on offer: £35,000 - £42,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
- Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:00am - 16:00pm, Friday: 07:00 - 13:00

The Role
As Quality Control Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the QC inspection function.
This will include leading and developing the inspection team, ensuring checks are completed accurately and on time, and working closely with production and engineering to resolve quality issues.
You will also be involved in monitoring quality performance, reviewing data, and helping to drive improvements through KPI tracking and continuous improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising and leading a team of QC Inspectors (currently 5)
- Ensure inspections are completed in line with ITPs, work instructions, API Q1 and ISO standards
- Conducting regular checks, audits, and reviews of inspection processes
- Investigating non-conformance''s and supporting root cause analysis such as Why, Ishikawa and 8D
- Working with production to resolve quality issues quickly and effectively
- Monitoring quality KPIs and using data to support decision making
- Maintaining quality documentation and records
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within QC
- Providing training, guidance, and support to the QC team
- Ensuring health andamp; safety and quality procedures are followed at all times
Experience
- Demonstrable experience in quality control or inspection roles
- Engineering or technical qualification (NVQ, BTEC, HNC or similar)
- Formal training in SPC, Lean or Six Sigma (Yellow or Green Belt advantageous)
- Minimum 5 years'' experience in quality or inspection within a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience leading teams and managing performance
- Experience working within structured quality systems
