As a Quality Control (Laboratory Assistant) based in Ledbury, you will join a busy team within a food manufacturing business. This full-time, temporary contract pays £15.31 per hour and involves 12-hour rotating day and night shifts. Duties Include:
- Carrying out routine laboratory tests and checks
- Taking samples from production lines
- Conducting fruit quality checks, including weight and Brix testing
- Recording results accurately using SAP
- Monitoring laboratory stock and supplies
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Supporting production and quality teams as required
- Good attention to detail
- Basic IT skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Strong communication skills
- Previous laboratory or quality control experience is beneficial but not essential
- Must be available to work for the full project duration until the end of August
- 12 hour shifts
- Days, nights and weekend working required
- Day Shift: 06:00 – 18:00
- Night Shift: 18:00 – 06:00
