Our client, a long established manufacturing company based in the Medway Towns, are currently recruiting a Quality Control Inspector on a permanent basis. Working with the Quality Control team, you will report to the Quality Control Manager and be responsible for monitoring, measurement, analysis, customer complaint investigations and improvement of processes, ensuring their products meet the high standards expected. You will also be responsible for conducting regular internal audits. The hours of work are 8.00am to 4.30pm, Monday to Thursday, 8.00am to 3.30pm on Fridays. Duties for this role will include, however will not be limited to: Monitoring quality during production ensuring that any observed issues are raised and documentedMonitoring the production floor ensuring that any other issues observed are raised and reportedAuditing pallets prior to dispatch, to ensure they conform to specification and customer requirementsInvestigating customer complaints and assisting in the implementation of corrective and preventative actions where requiredIssuing one point lessons and holding tool box talks as and when requiredArranging and carrying out meetings as and when required to report any new initiatives, problems, KPI results and customer complaintsAuditing print and conversion first offs in accordance with the company procedureCarrying out continuous improvement projects as and when requiredAssisting with appropriate risk assessments where necessaryRepresenting our client on ..... full job details .....
