Quality Inspector (Civils QC) - Contract - Rosyth - SC / SC EligibleA leading organisation in the defence and security sector is seeking a Quality Inspector to support civils quality control across site and supplier activities within a highly regulated environment.Location: Rosyth (on-site attendance required 3 days per fortnight for critical meetings)Contract: ContractClearance: SC cleared or SC eligible (UKEO)Key responsibilitiesDeliver quality control inspections in line with specifications, Quality Plans and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)Undertake inspection / witnessing / surveillance across supplier and site activitiesEnsure work is completed by SQEP personnel and quality requirements are evidenced with accurate recordsRaise and support resolution of NCRs, deviations and concessions with clear technical detailVerify inspection and test equipment is calibrated and controlled appropriatelyProduce inspection reports and support Lifetime Quality Records (LTQRs) completionSupport the NEC4 Supervisor with objective evidence and technical recommendationsSkills and experience requiredAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specificationsStrong QC/inspection background within civils / constructionExperience in a highly regulated environment (ideally nuclear, defence, or similar)Confident using electronic reporting tools and MS OfficeStrong communication skills and a firm-but-fair approachDesirable: NEC4 experience (Supervisor-related), plus exposure ..... full job details .....
