As the Quality Control Inspector, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry.

You will be involved in:

• Provide technical guidance and quality control expertise to the Build/AIT team
• Support technicians in assessing incident severity and making go/no-go decisions
• Advise and assist team leaders on quality-related matters
• Review work instructions for technical accuracy and compliance with quality standards; reject and support correction of errors where necessary
• Assess drawings in support of work instruction reviews
• Verify quality coverage in work instructions using QVP (and KIP, if applicable); assist in correcting deficiencies
• Assist in managing local non-conformances and non-conformance reports (NCRs); raise and follow through on Occurrence Reports (ORs) as needed
• Inspect supplier-delivered parts and assemblies for compliance
• Conduct patrol inspections, including:
• Documentation and hardware checks
• Process adherence
• Workshop discipline, including:
• Cleanliness
• Tool calibration and control
• Training record verification
• Spot checks and process audits as required

Your skillset & experience:

• Proven experience in quality control/inspections or related discipline
• Proven capability and delivery within a manufacturing business
• Electro / Mechanical / Composite Build Inspector
• Proven experience within the aerospace or related industries
• Patrol auditing works instructions and assembly technicians'' activities
• Occurrence reporting using intranet forms and screens
