This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business with a genuine focus on quality, safety and developing its people.Hours39 hours per weekMonday to Thursday: 7:00am to 3:45pmFriday: 7:00am to 1:00pmWhat you''ll be doingReporting to the Quality Manager, inspecting chassis, ancillary equipment and cut and folded production partsCarrying out pre-delivery inspections using 3D model software and uploading reportsPaint checks on finished units and inspection of fabricated parts and sub-assemblies before main buildRaising and escalating non-conformances, and helping resolve customer quality issuesMaintaining quality gates on the shop floor and supporting quality investigationsCarrying out internal audits such as 5S and contributing to continuous improvementWhat you''ll bringExperience in a quality or inspection role within a manufacturing environmentConfident using measuring equipment such as weld gauges, taper gauges and angle findersA good understanding of the welding processExperience working within a quality management systemBasic computer skills and the ability to write clear handwritten reportsStrong teamwork, communication and health and safety ..... full job details .....
