This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting, enjoys variety in their work, and is passionate about delivering top-quality products to customers worldwide.What’s on offer:Competitive salary packageContributory pension schemePrivate medical insuranceCompany laptop, phone, and all required toolsMinimum 25 days holiday (rising to 30 with service)Long service awards and career growth opportunitiesThe role:As a Quality Control Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of our commitment to process enhancement, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.You’ll work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to maintain the highest product standards, using both your technical expertise and your strong communication skills.As a Quality Control Engineer, you will:Inspect electronic/mechanical parts, PCBs, wiring, and assembliesInterpret drawings, BOMs, work instructions, and CAD documentationInvestigate non-conformances, carry out root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions (8D methodology)Maintain and analyse quality data to support KPI reportingConduct internal and supplier audits in line with ISO9001 and ISO14001Support process improvement initiatives across the businessWhat you’ll bring:Electronics qualification (HNC, BTEC 3, or A-Level; BTEC 2 considered for the right candidate)3+ years in a similar quality roleStrong knowledge of ISO9001 and ISO14001 (IATF16949 experience an advantage)Experience with data collection, validation, and database managementExcellent problem-solving and documentation skillsConfident use of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPointDesirable:DMAIC, FMEA, REACH knowledgeInternal auditing experienceIMDS familiarityIf you’re a versatile, detail-oriented engineer with a passion for quality and a drive to make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you.Apply now to be part of a forward-thinking team shaping the future of public transport ..... full job details .....
