      <description>Location: Sittingbourne | Salary: 33000.00-33000.00 Annual | Type: Permanent | Quality Control Engineer  Annual Salary: £33k - £35k DOE Location: UK Job Type: Full-time  Day-to-day of the role:  Perform technical validation of products, raw materials, components, and traded goods, including reading technical drawings and Technical Data Sheets (TDS). Analyse data to identify trends and issues in product quality. Create and maintain testing sheets and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for inspections. Support root-cause investigations using problem-solving tools to address quality issues. Maintain and improve housekeeping in the Quality lab using 5S methodology. Ensure all measuring and testing equipment is maintained and calibrated. Report all incidents or accidents through the correct channels.  Required Skills and Qualifications:  Minimum of 2 years'' experience in a quality team within a manufacturing or testing laboratory environment. Strong understanding of inspection, testing, and quality control methodologies. Ability to read and interpret technical information, including technical drawings and specifications.
