Quality Control Assistant

Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is currently seeking a Quality Control Assistant on a temp to perm basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for Goods-in Quality Control inspection activities in accordance with Quality Plans and business requirements. This role involves the generation of Non-Conformance Reports raised against internal departments and suppliers/sub-contractors. You will play a leading role within the Quality Control team, encouraging and mentoring internal growth.Key Responsibilities:Inspection of products in line with quality plans to ensure conformance (mechanical, dimensional, aesthetic, and electrical checks).Inspection of electrical compliance of products, including physical wiring checks and electrical testing (Hi-pot, Earth bonding, etc.).Collaborating closely with the Goods-in and Warehouse teams to ensure the efficient processing of incoming shipments.Generation of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for suppliers/sub-contractors and internal departments.Functioning as a Quality representative to support all other business activities and departments as required.Job Requirements:Good communication skills - ability to communicate effectively with internal departments.Experience with electrical/mechanical working environments would be advantageous but not essential.Proficient level of competency with Microsoft applications (Word and Excel).Takes responsibility for ensuring a high quality of work.Keen eye for product quality to ensure ..... full job details .....
