Quality AssurerNewcastle-under-LymeUp to 30,000 per annum26 days holiday plus bank holidaysAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quality Assurer to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Newcastle-under-Lyme.Working closely with Production and Coatings teams, you will help drive continuous improvement, reduce waste and rework, and ensure products consistently meet both business and customer expectations.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out quality inspections throughout production processes, including pre-process, in-process and final inspections.Inspect finished products for defects, damage, incorrect finishes, and other quality concerns.Check finish quality, thickness, adhesion, colour, gloss and overall product standards using appropriate inspection equipment.Ensure products meet drawings, specifications, work instructions, and customer requirements.Identify and control non-conforming products, raising quality concerns and supporting corrective actions.Maintain accurate quality documentation, inspection records, and traceability information.Work collaboratively with production teams to investigate defects and reduce scrap and rework.Support root cause investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.Ensure measuring equipment is calibrated and quality procedures are followed.Maintain high standards of health and safety, housekeeping, and PPE compliance.Undertake any additional duties required to support operational needs.Skills and ..... full job details .....
