Quality Assurance Officer

OA is hiring a Quality Assurance Officer to join our client''s growing meat production team.This role focuses on managing customer complaints, leading investigations, and driving quality improvements across processing, packing, and distribution. You''ll work closely with Commercial, Logistics, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure food safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.Location: UxbridgeHours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm (office based). Salary: £38,000-£40,000 - DOEQuality Assurance Officer BenefitsPension25 days pa, plus UK bank/public holidays (pro-rata for part years'' service).Life insurancePerformance bonus Income protection insuranceQuality Assurance Officer Key ResponsibilitiesManage customer complaints end-to-end in coordination with the Commercial teamLiaise with warehouses, transport providers and suppliers to conduct investigationsComplete and manage Corrective Action Plans (CAPs)Follow up with suppliers for formal response letters and ensure timely closureAnalyse recurring issues and drive continuous improvement initiativesSupport chargebacks, claims and quality-related commercial mattersHandle and maintain Quality Control documentationPromote application of the Quality Control Program across departments, suppliers, subcontractors and clientsAssist with customers SAQ''s and web platformsPerform internal audits (training can be provided)Support HACCP reviews and SOP documentation reviewAssist with laboratory coordination and surveysSupport ..... full job details .....
