Degree/NVQ Level 4 qualification or equivalentManagement diploma or equivalentEnhanced DBS checkClean, current driving licenceMinimum 5 years'' experience in children\''s residential careMinimum 2 years'' management experienceStrong knowledge of childcare legislation including the Children Act 2004 and Children\''s Home Regulations 2015Experience working with quality systems and processesProven track record of maintaining regulatory complianceExcellent leadership, communication, and organisational skillsThe Role
As Quality Assurance Manager, you will:Monitor and audit care quality across all residential homes, ensuring regulatory standards are met or exceededSupport Registered Managers and senior leaders in completing action plans and improving servicesDevelop and implement systems to measure care quality and young people\''s outcomesLead reflective practice sessions and promote Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)Conduct investigations and produce comprehensive reportsPrepare quarterly Quality Assurance Board reports and compliance updatesSupport the opening of new homes, ensuring robust monitoring systems are in placeDrive safeguarding best practice through audits and challenge where necessaryBuild and maintain strong relationships with Ofsted, CIW, and other key agenciesCoach and mentor managers to ensure effective leadership across servicesBenefits
