As our Quality Assurance Manager, you’ll work closely with the Director of Governance, Risk and Compliance to lead the development and implementation of quality control systems - ensuring our services and processes consistently meet ICAEW standards and regulatory requirements.This role could possibly suit someone with a strong background in Audit or Accounts who’s looking to transition into a quality-focused position, applying their technical expertise and professional qualifications in a new way.Develop and implement quality systems, procedures, and standards aligned with ICAEW ethics and practice assurance.Conduct internal audits and inspections to assess performance, ensure compliance, and identify opportunities for improvement.Monitor and analyse quality data to identify trends, risks, and the impact of improvement initiatives.Drive continuous improvement efforts, including enhancements to our onboarding platform and internal processes.Deliver training on quality practices and lead the planning and execution of the group’s annual CPD programme.Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment with quality standards and regulatory expectations.Maintain up-to-date engagement letters, terms, and documentation to support regulatory compliance.Assist the GRC Director with implementing compliance policies following acquisitions.Qualifications
Have a strong understanding of quality assurance principles and methodologies.Be ACA, ACCA (or equivalent) qualified, with previous experience in dealing with regulators – specifically the ICAEW / ICAS / ACCA.Hold excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Hold experience with relevant quality management software and tools, with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.Demonstrate resilience and ability to take decisive action.Thrive in a collaborative and progressive environment.Love getting to know people and be a fantastic communicator at all levels of the group.Benefits
