With a rich history dating back to 1862, we pride ourselves on our tradition of quality and innovation, employing around 700 colleagues at our state-of-the-art facility.About the RoleWe''re currently looking for a hands-on Quality Assurance Manager to join our team to work the Front-End Shift leading a team of six QA Technicians on the factory floor. You''ll be the driving force behind maintaining and improving quality standards in a fast-paced, high-volume food manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a team of 6 QA Technicians covering both day and night shiftsOversee daily quality assurance activities, including audits, checks, and compliance tasksMaintain high standards across a range of multi-retail customersCollaborate with the other QA Manager to ensure smooth handovers and continuityChampion a culture of food safety, hygiene, and continuous improvement on siteAbout YouYou are an experienced Quality Assurance Manager with a hands on leadership style who is supportive and focused on development.Key Skills and QualificationsEssential:HACCP Level 3 and Food Safety Level 3 certifiedDemonstrable experience in food manufacturingProven experience managing a QA team in a high-volume food environmentStrong knowledge of internal auditing, food safety standards, and contamination controlExcellent communication, resilience, and a proactive mindsetDesirable:Degree in a food science or related disciplineExperience working with multiple retail customersBackground in bakery or similar food production settingsBenefits28 Annual Leave including Bank HolidaysHealth Assured Employee Assistance Programme and Grocery Aid, offering confidential support services 365 days a yearCompany Pension SchemeBoparan Restaurant Group DiscountCycle2Work SchemeWhy Join Us?As one of the UK''s largest food manufacturers, we provide ample opportunities for career growth and skill development.
