Quality Assurance Engineer Location: Leicester (Large New Build Project) Contract Type: Full-Time / Permanent Salary: Competitive + Benefits About the Role A leading MandE Engineering company, part of a large construction group , is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team on a major new build project based near Leicester. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of quality, compliance, and technical excellence across all project activities. As the Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems, conducting inspections and audits, and supporting our project delivery teams in achieving outstanding performance across all MEP installations. Key Responsibilities Support the project team in implementing and maintaining project-specific Quality Management Plans. Conduct regular site inspections, quality checks, and internal audits to ensure compliance with the companies and client standards. Review and approve inspection and test plans (ITPs), material approvals, and quality documentation. Identify, record, and track non-conformances, ensuring timely corrective and preventive actions. Collaborate closely with design, engineering, and construction teams to resolve quality-related issues. Provide quality-focused input during installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
