The Role: The Quality Assurance Engineer plays a key role in ensuring quality across JFD''s products, projects and services, from contract review and development through to manufacture, testing, delivery and through-life support. Working closely with cross-functional teams, they translate customer, contractual and regulatory requirements into effective quality controls and objective evidence of compliance, while supporting the continual improvement of the Quality Management System and driving robust corrective actions. What you''ll be doing: • Support contract and project reviews to identify quality requirements, risks and acceptance criteria, developing and maintaining Quality Plans and Inspection and Test Plans. • Review project milestone and release documentation, including configuration records, material traceability, inspection results, test records and objective quality evidence. • Support inspections, test witnessing and customer acceptance activities, escalating any gaps against agreed requirements. • Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to embed effective quality controls throughout manufacturing, assembly, rework and testing processes. • Support supplier evaluations, audits and performance reviews, following up on supplier non-conformances and verifying corrective actions. • Facilitate investigations, ..... full job details .....
