Quality Assurance Engineer - HS2

The QA Engineer will support the delivery of quality assurance and quality control activities across HS2 rail infrastructure projects. Working closely with the Project Manager, Project Engineers, Site Management and subcontractors, the role will ensure works are delivered in accordance with HS2 requirements, approved designs, specifications, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), relevant standards and company procedures. Salary: 75,000 + travel expenses = car allowance + pension + healthcare + bonus. Key Responsibilities Support the implementation of QA/QC procedures across HS2 rail infrastructure projects. Ensure construction and MandE works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, ITPs and HS2 requirements. Carry out regular site inspections to monitor workmanship, materials and installation quality. Prepare, review and maintain Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and associated quality documentation. Coordinate inspections, hold points and witness points with the project team, client and relevant stakeholders. Review subcontractor quality documentation and ensure works are completed in accordance with approved requirements. Assist with the management and close-out of NCRs, defects, observations and corrective actions. Maintain accurate records of inspections, testing, approvals and quality-related activities.
