Our solutions include video analytics synchronized with live data analytics to allow for instant answers to on track problems or opportunities, and we are passionate about helping motorsport organizations at all levels to better race, prepare, teach, and win.WE WANT PEOPLE WHO ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT DEVELOPING INNOVATIVE PRODUCTSAs a Catapult QA Engineer you will drive desktop, web and mobile software product excellence through your QA planning and testing activities. The purpose of this role is to develop and execute end to end exploratory, functional and automated tests for all software products prior to market release. This person will also work closely with a cross functional team (Development, Program Management, Product Management and Customer Support) to investigate/resolve issues and help instill a QA at the start mindset.

What You’ll Do

Design, develop and execute automation scripts using appropriate tools.Work with Development and Product to help design new features and products.Work with Product Specialists to help solve customer problems.Increase the use of automation tests for new features and improvementsIncrease componentization of our automated tests.Collaborate with developers and product management to increase product quality and identify hotspots.Collaborate with developers to identify issues with testability within our applications.Coordinate and run strategic manual testing and identify variance from expected behavior.Determine if a feature can be considered complete and ready for production deployment.Work with our SDET to identify issues and gaps in the technology and tools used for our automation.

What You’ll Need

Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processesDegree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant qualificationsSelf-starter, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environmentProven working experience in software developmentExperience developing tests for native Windows applications.Hands-on experience with black box testing.Familiar with a coding language, preference for Python.Experience in an agile development team deploying to production multiple times a week.Experience in performance testing is preferable.Experience with Squish Testing Framework preferable.Knowledge or interest in Motorsport with an understanding of technical terminology.
