Quality Assurance EngineerCompositesBurnleyOur site in Burnley provides employment to almost 700 people and we are proud to be one of the largest private sector employers in Burnley.About the RoleAs a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will support the Composite Operations team in delivering products on time, to specification, and in full compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements.Working closely with Operations, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams, you will drive quality improvement initiatives, prevent customer escapes, reduce concessions, and support the continuous development of the Quality Management System. This is an excellent opportunity to make a tangible impact within a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities- Drive customer escape prevention and concession reduction initiatives.- Lead complex root cause investigations and continuous improvement projects.- Apply quality tools including APQP, PFMEA, SPC, 8D, and Six Sigma.- Support Quality Planning activities for New Product Introduction (NPI).- Conduct product and process audits and manage corrective actions.- Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal quality standards.- ..... full job details .....
