Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to focus on Non-Conformance Reporting (NCR) and Technical Report Reviews in support of customer specific requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Report quality analysis, trends and improvement activities
• Communication of the customer quality requirements to the business team
• Liaise with customers regarding quality issues, audit actions, improvements
• Use of quality tools to ensure resolution (e.g. PFMEA, Ishikawa, Fault Tree Analysis).
• Support with New Product Introductions from a quality perspective
• Initiate, implement, and control corrective actions
• Lead Zero Defect initiatives and improve customer satisfaction and KPIs

What We’re Looking For

• Quality background in a highly regulated industry (Aerospace, Automotive, Rail, Pharmaceutical, etc)
• Working knowledge of problem resolution tools, such as A3 or 8D, and Root Cause Analysis techniques e.g. Pareto, 5 Why''s, Ishikawa, Is/Is Not, Design of Experiments
• Knowledge and experience of Quality/Business Management Systems (EN 9100 / ISO 9001) and other relevant standards.
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Health, Safety and Environmentally conscious.
• Ability to read and understand 2D technical drawings

38 hours per week
Hours 07.30 – 16.00 Mon-Thu & 07.30 – 14.00 Fri
£18.00 per hour (£35,568 per annum)
