Quality Assurance Advisor

Location: Somerset Area Salary: 32,000 - 33,000 Working Pattern: 4 Days per Week (4 x 10-hour shifts, Monday-Thursday) Reporting To: Technical ManagerThe OpportunityA fantastic opportunity has arisen for a QA Technician to join a growing food manufacturing business at an exciting stage of its journey.The company has recently invested in a modern, future-focused production facility and is continuing to strengthen its technical and quality functions ahead of major customer and certification audits later this year. This role offers the chance to be part of a business that is investing heavily in quality, food safety, people, and long-term growth.Working closely with an experienced and highly supportive Technical Manager, you''ll play a key role in maintaining product quality, driving standards across the factory, and ensuring the site remains audit-ready at all times.This position would suit someone with previous factory-based food manufacturing experience who is looking to develop their career within Quality Assurance.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out routine quality checks throughout production to ensure products meet food safety, quality, and customer requirements.Monitor GMP standards across the factory and support continuous improvement activities.Conduct internal audits and assist with preparation for customer and third-party audits.Complete environmental monitoring, swabbing, and sampling programmes.Review incoming raw materials, packaging, and associated documentation.Raise ..... full job details .....
