Quality and Training Manager

We are seeking an experienced Quality and Training Manager to support the ongoing development of quality, training, technical processes and production within a busy manufacturing/engineering environment for our reputable client. The role will have responsibility for ensuring employees are appropriately trained, quality standards are maintained, manufacturing processes are continually improved and production requirements are effectively supported. The successful candidate will work closely with the Production Manager, Business Manager, Quality Technician and SHEQ Manager. Training and Development You will ensure that workshop and despatch personnel are trained to the required standard to meet production requirements, identifying and reporting any training shortfalls where necessary. The role will involve delivering training when manufacturing or despatch processes are changed, ensuring employees understand new procedures and working practices. You will maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures, ensuring they accurately reflect current processes and improvements and that employees understand and follow them. You will also provide training on corrective actions arising from customer or internal non-conformance reports and ensure all training is properly recorded and signed off by the relevant employees.
