With a focus on innovation and excellence, we strive to set new standards in the sector, driving quality and improving lives through our PRIDE values.The Quality and Improvement Manager will play a critical role in shaping and embedding a culture of continuous improvement across the Optimo Care Group. This role will ensure that quality activity across the division creates a "golden thread," aligning all practices with regulatory and contractual compliance while driving innovation and aligning with national best practices.The successful candidate will champion quality and drive improvements across all services and position Optimo Care as a sector leader in defining and delivering exceptional quality care.Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

– Support the delivery of a group quality improvement strategy that aligns with Optimo Care\''s mission, vision, and values. Create a culture of continuous improvement, empowering teams to strive for excellence in care delivery. Ensure all activities reflect a strong focus on both regulatory compliance (e.g., CQC standards) and contractual requirements.Quality and Compliance

– Monitor and evaluate quality performance across all services, identifying opportunities for improvement. Provide guidance and expertise to ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and national best practices. Establish systems to audit, benchmark, and report on quality performance across the division. Carry out audits and reviews to provide a quality rating in all services. Support the implementation and monitoring of the service improvement plans across all services.Project Leadership

– Lead and deliver quality improvement projects to drive change and innovation, ensuring outcomes align with strategic goals. Standardise practices and processes across services to develop an Optimo Way of working. Collaborate with teams to co-produce and implement new frameworks, tools, and policies.Collaboration and Engagement

– Act as a central point of expertise, sharing best practices and ensuring a coordinated approach to quality improvement. Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including staff, service users, commissioners, and regulators. Champion innovation, encouraging services to embrace new ideas and technologies that enhance quality. Champion the continuous upskilling of front line teams to ensure support, expertise and skillsets remain at the cutting edge of sector leadership.Future-Proofing Quality

– Anticipate and respond to changes in national standards and best practices, ensuring Optimo Care remains at the forefront of the sector. Shape and influence the wider sector by contributing to policy development and thought leadership on quality improvement.Person Specification

Qualifications

Relevant professional qualification in health and social care, quality improvement, or related field.Evidence of continuous professional development in quality, leadership, or compliance areas.Experience

Proven track record in a supported living/ secure/specialist service.Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., CQC, contractual standards) and best practices in the sector.Experience leading large-scale quality improvement projects, ideally across multiple sites or organisations.Demonstrated ability to create and implement consistent systems and processes across diverse teams.Skills and Competencies
