As the Quality & Technical Engineer you will:

• Provide technical support and advice to customers.
• Maintain and create product information documents and databases.
• Support the QA & Systems Manager in maintaining third-party approvals.
• Assist the Customer Service team with technical information and phone cover.
• Attend industry events and exhibitions in a technical support capacity.
• Manage a dedicated technical support line for branded products.
• Visit customer sites as necessary.
• Collaborate with the Technical Sales Manager to develop customer requirements on product specifications.

We are looking for a Quality & Technical Engineer with:

• Professional telephone manner and effective face-to-face communication skills.
• Adaptable, willing to learn, and develop technical knowledge.
• Team player with the ability to use initiative.
• Experience in the plumbing and heating sector is preferable.
• Knowledge of quality systems and product approvals is desired.
• Strong IT literacy, including Word and Excel; Sage experience is an advantage.
• Enthusiasm for new technology and excellent organisational skills.
• Plumbing Diploma (training provided if required).
• Driving licence (preferable).
• IT literate.
