Our client, a global leader in the manufacturing of safety-critical mechanical products, is looking for a talented  Quality &amp; Design Engineer  to join their dynamic engineering team in Blyth. This is a fantastic opportunity for those who thrive in a hands-on role, with an exciting 50/50 split between design engineering and quality assurance!   What You''ll Do:    Design Engineering (50%)    Create, modify, and maintain 3D models and detailed engineering drawings using  SolidWorks  (essential!).  Support new product development and manage engineering changes.  Collaborate closely with manufacturing to ensure designs are practical, efficient, and fit for purpose.  Provide technical input to meet customer and application requirements.    Quality Engineering (50%)    Support and enhance quality processes across manufacturing operations.  Assist with audits, inspections, non-conformances, and corrective actions.  Work alongside the Quality team to maintain  ISO9001  and  ISO14001  standards.
