Opus Teach are recruiting for an exciting long-term Year 6 teaching opportunity at a welcoming primary school based near Thetford, starting in January and running through to July. The school is looking for an experienced teacher who: Has previous Year 6 teaching experience Is confident delivering the Year 6 curriculum and preparing pupils for SATs Can provide consistency and strong classroom leadership throughout the academic year Is committed to seeing the class through to the end of the summer term A little more about the role: Full-time position (job share may be considered) Class of approximately 30 pupils Mainstream Year 6 class Full-time Teaching Assistant support On-site parking available Weekly staff meeting on Mondays (finishing around 4:30pm) Planning and marking will be expected The school is specifically seeking someone with proven upper KS2 experience who can step in confidently from day one.
