Qualified Social Worker, Kinship/SGO Team, Bolton CouncilPay rate to £37 per hour Contract roleVitalis are recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to work in a Kinship/SGO Team in Bolton Council. The candidate will have post qualifying experience in working with and supporting kinship carers and Special Guardians and have experience of the followingUndertake assessments of Kinship Carers and Special GuardiansUndertake annual reviews and other reviews as required to evaluate and monitor the care of looked after children provided by Kinship carersProvide ongoing supervision and support to ensure the care of looked after children is of the highest qualityIdentify any support, training, and preparation to develop the skills of carers furtherAdvising and assisting colleagues to place individual children with Kinship carers and substitute familiesAttend reviews, case conferences, strategy meetings and network meetings as and when required and to provide the appropriate advice, information, and support for such forumsOrganise Kinship fostering information and advisory service for both colleagues and members of the public.We operate a hybrid working arrangement, however candidates must be able to be office based in Bolton or undertake visits to meet service needs.Don''t forget, if this role isn''t the perfect fit, we''re confident we can find one that is.
