The candidate must have experience completing Section 47 enquiries, undertaking comprehensive Child and Family Assessments, and managing risk using evidence-based approaches such as Signs of Safety. They will be expected to lead safeguarding processes, contribute to multi-agency planning, produce clear analytical reports, including for court, and ensure timely, accurate recording. The role requires skilled relationship-based practice, confident decision-making, effective multi-agency collaboration, and a clear commitment to improving outcomes and safety for children and families.There is an expectation for the candidate to be on site for 5 days during their duty week, which is every fourth week.
