      <description>Location: Somerset | Salary: &amp;pound;38/hour | Type: Temporary | Our client Somerset Council is looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join their children in need service.   The responsibility of the Children''s Services Function is to promote and ensure the safety, well bring and learning of children and young people.   Within the Service, Children and Young People''s Social Care Team provide services to "Children in Need", children subject to Child Protection Plans, Children "Looked After" and consultancy across Early Help Services.   The Family Front Door Social Worker is responsible for triaging acute level of need referrals from professionals and families, gathering and analysing information, and making clear, evidence-based recommendations.   The role ensures an effective interface between our families, partner agencies and Children''s Social Care, to ensure that Children and Families within Somerset get the correct level of support and the the correct time. All Practitioners at the Front Door are office based for their intervention, assessment and triage of Children and Families.
