Shire Healthcare are working in partnership with a specialist children''s care provider to recruit Residential Children''s Workers for a two-bed children''s home in Leigh.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly established service supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Learning Disabilities (LD). You will play a key role in helping to create a safe, nurturing and therapeutic home environment where young people can thrive.

• Total yearly earnings of -33,750 to -37,100 (including sleeps)

As a Residential Children''s Worker, you will:

• Provide high-quality care and support to young people within the home
• Build positive and trusting relationships with children and young people
• Promote emotional wellbeing, independence and personal development
• Support young people with daily routines, education and recreational activities
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, families and external professionals
• Safeguard and promote the welfare of children at all times

Essential Requirements

• Right to Work in the UK (sponsorship is not available)
• NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare, Children & Young People''s Workforce or equivalent
• Previous experience supporting young people within a residential childcare or care setting
• Enhanced DBS and satisfactory references
